Review: If I could give them 0 stars, I absolutely would. They are liars, plain and simple. They set a schedule and then consistently FAIL to keep it. They’ll say they’re coming by to review or bid and they won’t. To make it worse, you have to chase them to try to get updates. They don’t even do paying customers the courtesy of reaching out proactively to tell them they aren’t showing up. Their work isn’t particularly good either; after they “fixed” my chimney, my gas fireplace insert stopped working and I had to wait multiple weeks for them to come back out and fix it. If they knew this could happen as a result of their work, why didn’t they bother testing it before leaving? On top of that, they dumped a ton of debris on top of the insert and didn’t clean it out properly, which caused smoke and debris to spew into my living room. They scratched my fireplace multiple times when fixing the insert – even though I offered to help them move it so that we could avoid damaging it. Awful, awful, awful. There are plenty of competent masons in Portland who actually respect their customers that you can work with instead. Save yourself the headache and skip these bozos.
