Review: I like that Ye Old Town Sweep does chimneys and dryers. The guy left the house clean after completing the chimney sweep and left a mess after cleaning the dryer vent. Review: Great service! Grant did our chimney inspection and cleaning. He did a great job, was friendly and left my home and wood stove sparkling clean. He was also patient with all our questions! Will use them regularly from now on!

Review: We had them come clean our townhouse chimney (open wood burning fireplace) They introduced themselves upon arrival (John & Josh) & immediately removed their shoes. They layered our hardwood floors in tarps & sucked out all the soot with an industrial vacuum. Josh inspected everything up top on the roof. He also fixed a chimney mistake made during the last re-roofing. A particular piece of flashing wasn’t sealed. It was a minor fix & very inexpensive. We had our dryer vent cleared & calibrated as well ($50 due to a short “vent hose line”) Seeing the piles of lint cleared out, an the vent readings go up, . . .equals 🚫 fire hazard an a lower EWEB bill 👍😁. The whole process was quick, friendly, an not badly priced. We were given extra tips on chimney upkeep & ways to prolong our fireplace. Thank you Ye Old Town Sweep 💯

Review: We have used a wood stove for years and we did our own maintenance of the stove and the did the chimney cleaning ourselves. We thought we had done a proper job of it and the ONLY reason we hired it done this year was only because of age.It seemed like a good idea to have someone else now do that job. I heard good reports about Ye Old Town Sweep, so I called them. Grant came out to do the job, and we were actually amazed about how little we actually knew, resulting is what poor condition our chimney was in. Grant was really clear about how we need to use our wood stove, and what it would take to keep it operating as safely as possible. It was truly a learning experience and we are SO glad we had it cleaned PROPERLY. Just as an added side note, Grant took great care to have a messy job, not make a mess in our house, and he was very congenial to work with. Review: Definitely recommend this company. I am a first time home buyer and appreciated that he took the time to show me tips and tricks on using my fireplace for the first time. Also did not try to overcharge me. I initially scheduled a chimney cleaning and inspection, but didn’t need the cleaning and he didn’t try to make it seem like I did for the extra penny.
